The Centre for Practical Spirituality offers industry training in spiritual wellness, pastoral care, intracultural sensitivity, and holistic education.
Our hands-on seminars and workshops enable managers, teams, and HR officers to self-evaluate their organisations’ level of “inner intelligence.” We help you develop strategies for growing employees’ resilience, empathy, mindfulness, and courage.
The Centre’s training follows the philosophy of cura personalis—a Latin phrase indicating that care should be individual and well-rounded. This concept of inclusive wellbeing is religious in origin but has been adopted in business and educational environments.
Organisations with no religious background have come to realize that workers thrive in environments where physical, mental, vocational, and spiritual wellbeing are all treated as vital.
We tailor training to individual workplaces. Samples of our training packages include:
- Using mindfulness and breathing techniques to cope with pressured work environments
- Understanding and respecting cultural and religious diversity
- Self-care techniques
- Using art and imagination to broaden the curriculum (for schools).
The Centre’s workshops are led by engaging public speakers with advanced degrees and professional experience in a range of organizations. Our team has a diverse background as company directors, university lecturers, health care executives, psychologists, nurses, school teachers, published authors, human resource managers, industry chaplains.
